Ryoanji Temple is the site of Japan’s most famous Rock garden.
This rock garden is arranged as one stone cannot be seen from any position. The reason why only one garden stone can be seen from any angle is that it is designed so that one stone overlaps another, and it is said to represent the ‘overlapping orientation’ in Japanese gardens.

13:00-14:30   Kiyomizu Temple
Kiyomizu Temple is a Buddhist temple located in eastern Kyoto with 1,200 years of history.
Kiyomizu Temple was listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site as one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto in 1994.
In the precincts, there is the main hall, which is the origin of the phrase “jumping off the stage of Kiyomizu”, as well as national treasures and important cultural properties such as the three-storied pagoda. In addition, you can also see power spots such as Otowa Falls, which is said to bring blessings such as the fulfillment of love, and Zuigudo and going through the darkness inside of the Zuigu-do Hall called Tainai meguri.
